Employee Recognition for Improvements in Customer SatisfactionThis Employee Recognition program was designed to promote three customer service initiatives among the company’s 10,000 employees. The program recognized and rewarded employees for their efforts in helping the company improve customer satisfaction in each of three identified customer services areas. Employees were nominated by fellow employees, supervisors, managers, customers or suppliers. A network of employee/manger committees was established at each of the 20+ manufacturing plants to review and approve nominations. The program operated throughout the United States and was supported with brochures, nomination forms, program guidelines and recognition posters. A Spanish version of the program operated in two plants in Mexico.
